Lynck is about to become Startcubes.com!

Dear Lynck User,

The Lynck platform to create your personal start page has been serving many of you for several years. A simplistic approach to create your personal page - since 2006.

Behind the scenes, Lynck has been working on a better platform with the same concept in mind. Lynck is proud to offer you a better platform to create your personal page, under a new name: Lynck will become Startcubes.

Why is Startcubes better?

  • Lynck already offered a lot of news sources (rss-feeds). Startcubes supports way more: 1500+ news sources. Next to that, you now are able to mix your sources: multiple news sources are shown per news block. Handy! An example: you like baseball? Mix up several baseball news sources and stay up to date of all the latest baseball news!


  • Add multiple Quick Searches to your personal page. A Quick Search is a search functionality of often-used websites like Wikipedia, IMDB.com or Amazon, which can be used from your pseronal page directly.


  • Enough of all that green? Choose your theme color! Startcubes created several color themes from which you can choose.


  • Sorting and tweaking your page has never been easier: Every block is movable - create the start page the way you like!


  • More news lines, or less? Set the amount of news lines per news block. Aside from that, new news lines (the ones you haven't seen yet) have a timestamp with a different color. This makes it easier to see what news you already seen and you can more easily focus on the newest headlines.


  • Start immediately! Start directly with personalizing your page, without registering or logging in. Your customizations and settings are stored by means of a so-called 'cookie' in your browser cache. It is advisable to register - this way your settings will never get lost. Additionally, once registered your personal page is accessible from every internet device.


  • Share your page with friends and colleagues. Set your page to be 'publically accessible' in the settings menu and everyone can visit your personal page. You'll receive an easy to remember personal address: www.startcubes.com/yourusername/.
